Welcome to Letterellan
A new boutique hotel in the Heart of Perthshire by Loch Tay. Letterellan is a welcoming 200-year-old Victorian Villa.
Our guiding principle is to offer exceptional accommodation and service, to make our guests feel they are ‘home from home’ and to make their stay in Perthshire, Scotland one to remember. We believe that there are a few prerequisites that a boutique hotel must have – relaxing décor, very comfortable beds, immaculate bathrooms, fresh linens, fluffy towels, welcoming guest areas, candles, fresh flowers and a hearty Scottish breakfast with plenty of choice. These are the essentials that we combine with the highest standards of personal service. This is what Letterellan is all about.

For the avoidance of doubt, please be aware that we do not accept infants or children under 18 and that the maximum occupancy for any of our rooms is 2 people.

We hope to welcome you to Letterellan in the near future.

Our rooms
The guest bedrooms take their inspiration from some of the best quality hotels in the world. Newly-refurbished to a very high standard, each room has a King-sized bed with luxurious Egyptian cotton linen. Freshly-cut flowers and soft dimmable lighting creates a relaxing atmosphere in which guests can recharge their batteries. Every detail has been thought through, and each room is equipped with all the tech you would expect at home: plentiful power sockets, high speed wifi, Sony TV with Netflix and a Bose music sound system. Each guest room has an individually-designed ensuite shower room equipped with heated mirror, fluffy towels and Aesop products to leave guests feeling fresh and invigorated.
Explore the area
Scotland’s beauty is derived from its rugged landscapes and dramatic scenery. Highland Perthshire offers guests a magical experience in the heart of Scotland within easy reach of Glasgow or Edinburgh. Letterellan is situated by Loch Tay, only 2.5 miles from the historic village of Kenmore. The mighty Ben Lawers, the highest peak in Perthshire, looks down on the loch creating the most spectacular views. Beside Letterellan is Drummond Hill, part of the Tay Forest Park, giving guests the opportunity to explore woodland trails and the Black Rock viewpoint. Close-by is Glen Lyon, described by Sir Walter Scott as the “longest, loneliest and loveliest glen in Scotland".
